The Texas Association of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery is the primary statewide professional organization dedicated to the practice of otolaryngology for Texas physicians — a resource for education, networking, leadership and advocacy built specifically around this specialty.
TAO holds an annual meeting each fall offering high-quality, up-to-date CME on clinical, scientific and related medical topics — affordable credit and the chance to see colleagues from across the state. Resident membership is free.

Teams of three compete in the Resident Knowledge Bowl, and TAO resident members can claim a $200 stipend toward hotel and travel.

A Texas Otolaryngologist Now Leads the Texas Medical Association
The Texas Medical Association installed Waco otolaryngologist Bradford W. Holland, MD, as its 161st president during TexMed, TMA’s annual conference. He assumes this one-year role after serving as TMA’s president-elect during the past year.
Dr. Holland becomes the first TMA president from Waco in more than 50 years — and puts an otolaryngologist at the head of the largest state medical society in the country.
